Art Club
-
The Art Club is open to ALL students. You do not have to be enrolled in any art class to participate.
The Art, Writing and Filmmaking Clubs are an eclectic group of creative and critical thinking students who often work collaboratively to enhance their personal art/craft in a variety of ways. These clubs may supplement a student's classwork or allow a student to experiment in new media. The clubs also assist with the material and stories used in the promotional videos for the school, district and local community.
This year, the clubs will partner together in the making of a documentary film for HEHS's upcoming 50th Anniversary. Students who are interested, will work collaboratively on "The Spirit of Hoffman Estates". Writing Club students will learn how to write screenplays in the Hollywood format, while the Art Club students will create the visualization through storyboarding. The Filmmaking club will put together the production and post-production of the documentary.
