    Date and Time 

    Saturday, February 8, 2025, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

     

    New Ticket Procedure 

    ● Students will not be issued a physical ticket for the dance. Dance tickets will be digitally linked to a student’s ID. Therefore, students must show their ID in order to enter the dance. Guest tickets will also be linked to the purchasers’s ID and guests must show an ID to enter. 

    ● We encourage all students to purchase their tickets on MySchoolBucks. 

    ● MySchoolBucks ticket sales begin Monday, January 27th. 

    ● Students wanting to pay with cash or check can purchase tickets from the cashier Monday, February 3rd – Thursday, February 6th from 7:00 am -3:30 pm. 

    ● Online ticket sales close at 11:59 pm Thursday, February 6th. Tickets are $20 a person. 

    ● Tickets will be sold at the door for $25, but only to SHS students. No guest tickets will be sold at the door. 

     

    Guests 

    ● As in the past, an SHS student can bring 1 guest under 21 years of age or who is currently enrolled as a high school student. 

    ● All Non-SHS guests must enter the dance with the SHS student who purchased their ticket. 

    ● Guest tickets can be purchased through MySchoolBucks or during in-person sales at the cashier. 

    ● Guest information will be collected through MySchoolBucks when tickets are purchased online or will be collected when tickets are purchased in person. 

    ● If you student would like to purchase a ticket for another SHS student, the following information will be collected at purchase: β—‹ Guest’s first and last name 

    β—‹ Guest’s student ID number 

     

    ● The following guest information will be collected for Non-SHS students: β—‹ First and last name of guest 

    β—‹ Guest’s school and year in school 

    β—‹ Guest’s birthdate 

    β—‹ Guest’s ID number if a D211 student 

    β—‹ Guest’s parent/guardian name and phone number 

     

     

    *All SHS students and guests must present a current school ID at the dance to enter. If guests do not have a school ID, they must present a current driver’s license or state ID. 

    Dress Code Expectations for Semi-Formal Dances 

    ● Students need to make their best attempt to dress in semi-formal wear. 

     

    Expectations for Student Dancing 

    ● All students attending a dance sponsored by Schaumburg 5XΙηΗψ acknowledge that it is a school-related event, and all school rules apply. 

    ● Students are expected to dance in a respectable manner. Dancing that is inappropriate or that creates unsafe conditions is not allowed. 

    ● The administration reserves the right to remove any student from a dance for any type of behavior that is deemed inappropriate. 

    ● All bags, purses, etc. are subject to search 

    ● Guests that are removed from any dance, for any reason, may jeopardize attendance at future school events. Students will not be eligible for a ticket refund should they be excused from the dance for disciplinary reasons. 

     

    Late Entry to Dance 

    ● SHS students that have a school-related conflict, may arrive to the dance later and still gain entry.
