Homecoming Dance Date & Time:

Saturday, September 14, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Location:

Fremd 5X社区 – Outdoor dance in the back of the school (weather permitting; rain location in the Main Gym)

Parking and Entrance:

All Fremd students and guests with tickets will park cars or be dropped off in the main parking lot and will enter through Entrance 2 (middle entrance near the library).

Entry Procedures:

All students and guests must have a student ID. At the entrance, students will walk down the media center hallway, have their bags searched by the science hallway, and be checked into the dance using their Student ID. Students will be offered the chance to check coats in the cafeteria. Students will enter the outdoor dance area via Door 9 by the gym. All students must arrive to the dance by 8:30 PM. No students will be admitted after 8:30 PM.

Bag Search:

Students may only bring a small purse to the dance. Large duffel bags or backpacks will not be permitted into the dance or coach check area. All bags will be searched and coat pockets checked by school administrators. All school behavior expectations will be followed by all students. Students are responsible for their guests as well. Students with prohibited items will face behavioral consequences.

Exit Procedures:

Students exit via Door 1. Drop-offs, parking, or entrance to the dance will NOT be permitted via the back auditorium lot.

Highlights:

Student Council is hosting the Homecoming Dance with providing the evening’s music and entertainment.

Pre-Sale Tickets:

Tickets ($30/each) are sold for the Homecoming Dance at the cashier’s office through 3:00 PM (cash/check) or online via MySchoolBucks through 11:59 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024. FHS students may also purchase 1 guest ticket per person. Guest tickets are only available for purchase ahead of time via MySchoolBucks or the cashier’s office through Wednesday, September 11, 2024. No outside guests may purchase tickets at the door.

At-The Door Tickets for FHS Students Only: $35 dollars per ticket. No outside guests will be permitted to purchase tickets at the door.

Refund Policy: Homecoming dance tickets are non-refundable.

Guest Policy: Students who wish to bring a guest who does NOT attend Fremd 5X社区 must complete the guest information form embedded into MySchoolBucks or a paper copy available through the main office at the time of purchase. The Guest Form requires the guest’s first and last name, current school, current grade level in school, parent/guardian name, and emergency contact number. All guests will enter the dance through a guest line accompanied by their hosting student. Junior high school students and guests over the age of 20 are not permitted to attend the Homecoming dance. Guest tickets will only be available for purchase through Wednesday, September 11th; guest tickets are not available for purchase at the door. Guests must enter the dance with their Fremd host student...guests are NOT permitted to enter without an FHS student.

Evening of Event: Fremd students must have their Fremd ID to enter the dance, and their guest must have a valid form of identification (ex: student ID, state ID, driver’s license). Once students enter the dance, they must remain in the dance or concessions area. Students who leave the dance will not be readmitted.

Dance Attire: The Homecoming dance is a semi-formal dance. Students have traditionally worn dress pants/ties and dresses to the dance. Due to the dance being outside, we ask students to be mindful of the weather and dress accordingly. Students will be dancing on a concrete surface; comfortable footwear for dancing is encouraged. Students concerned about wearing dress shoes in the parking lot should plan to bring an additional set of comfortable shoes to wear while dancing.

Behavioral Expectations: All students attending a dance sponsored by Fremd 5X社区 acknowledge that it is a school-related event, and all school rules apply. Students are expected to dance in a respectable manner. Dancing that is inappropriate or that creates unsafe conditions is not allowed. The administration reserves the right to remove any student from a dance for any type of behavior that is deemed inappropriate. Guests that are removed from any dance, for any reason, may jeopardize attendance at future school events. Students who are excused from the dance for disciplinary reasons will not receive a refund of their ticket.

Additional Information: Volunteers from the Fremd Boosters will sponsor a coat check for coats and bags. Since the dance is outdoors and students will be dancing on the parking lot concrete surface, footwear suitable for dancing (gym shoes) is strongly encouraged.
