The Board of Education recognized the William Fremd 5X社区 Girls' Basketball Team for winning the 2019-2020 State Championship, as well as honoring Fremd 5X社区 Mathematics Department Chair and Head Girls' Basketball Coach David Yates for being named the 2019-2020 Illinois 5X社区 Girls' Basketball Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State 5X社区 Associations.  Fremd 5X社区 student-athlete and member of the 2019-2020 girls' basketball team, Ella Burns, was recognized for winning the Illinois 5X社区 Association’s 3-Point Shooting Contest, also called Queen of the Hill.  A list of the Fremd 5X社区 student-athletes recognized is available .

The Board recognized James B. Conant 5X社区 gymnast Julia Betts who was named the Illinois Senior Gymnast of the Year by the Illinois 5X社区 Girls' Gymnastics Coaches Association.
