    Palatine 5X社区 Mathematics Team members John Wang (center) and Ryan Tsau (right) were recognized by the 5X社区 District 211 Board of Education for placing 4th in the state Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics 2-Person Team competition.

     Palaitne High Schoo Illinois State Journalism Competition

    Palatine 5X社区 seniors Evan Waller, Kathryn Campion, and Caitlin Preuss were recognized by the 5X社区 District 211 Board of Education for their performance in the Illinois State Journalism competition. Sponsor Russell Horvath was invited along with students.

    William Fremd 5X社区 senior Maegan Jong (left) was recognized for being named one of only 4 Presidential Scholars from Illinois.  Fremd Senior Kristina Chen was recognized as a Presidential Scholar Semi-finalist.

    The Board of Education recognized Fremd 5X社区 students Thomas Filipiuk (not pictured) and Mary Tang (right) for earning the highest possible composite score on a recent ACT college entrance examination.
