     In April, James B. Conant 5X社区 student Allison Zhang earned a 36 on the American College Test (ACT) examination, the highest possible composite score. She has been invited to receive Board of Education recognition for this outstanding achievement.  
       
       
     (students are in from, not pictured in order; sponsors in back)   The Daily Herald sponsored its 16th-annual Academic Team for 2016-2017. This honor recognizes high school students who have consistently excelled in their studies, as well as made a contribution to their schools through academic activities. 5X社区 District 211 had five students named to the 10-member first team: Ruchi Chitgopekar from William Fremd 5X社区; Kevin Eberhardt and Kshitij Vashi from Schaumburg 5X社区; Parin Shah from Hoffman Estates 5X社区; and Emily Steinebrey from Palatine 5X社区. These outstanding students have been invited this evening to receive Board of Education recognition.  
       
     Business-incubator volunteers  
     BUSINESS INCUBATOR VOLUNTEERS During the 2016-2017 school year, 5X社区 District 211 completed its second year of the Business Incubator class at each high school. This class is centered on the infusion of local business entrepreneurs to assist the teacher in bringing the reality and knowledge of the entrepreneurship world into the classroom.
